Financial Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience in Financial Controller roles, specifically with exposure to the UK and Ireland markets. The role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, controllership functions, and proficiency in accounting frameworks such as IFRS and Irish GAAP.

This role is central to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of financial information, while providing expert guidance on complex accounting matters in line with IFRS / Irish GAAP.

• Location: Remote (Pan India)
• Working Hours: 1:30PM – 10:30PM
• Qualification: CA (strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS and UK GAAP)

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing Management Accounts and Board/Executive Committee Pack
• Analysing financial data & providing insightful commentary
• Financial Modelling including evaluating M&A opportunities.
• Setting up and monitoring internal controls, KPI’s and PO’s.
• High level of involvement in the budgeting processes.
• Managing the Statutory Audit
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
• Day to day Tax Compliance.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead production of statutory accounts in line with IFRS / Irish GAAP
• Provide technical guidance on complex areas (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, provisions)
• Own and enhance accounting policies and internal control frameworks, ensuring robust financial governance and regulatory compliance

Qualifications and Experience 

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience, along with strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar working environment
• Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role
• Strong background in statutory reporting, audit, and compliance
