Contracting Plus is a specialist provider of accountancy services to professional independent contract workers.

Entry to new markets and expansion within existing markets are central to our thinking for a flourishing future. We are currently building new relationships with recruitment agencies and contracting companies.

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Company Secretarial. This is a Maternity Leave Cover contract for a year. This role is based in Cork and is part of the Finance Team.

Candidate will be performing the following duties:

  • Preparing and filing of Companies Office returns.
  • Managing Companies Registration Office Forms.
  • Co-ordinating the Annual Compliance and maintaining company database of companies controlled and managed by Contracting Plus.
  • Creation of processes and implementation of the Registration of Business Ownership (RBO) to satisfy the requirements of the department of justice.
  • Interaction with the CRO and clients on a regular basis ensuring companies comply with statutory obligations, Irish Company Law matters…
  • Coordinating and attending Board Meetings and shareholder meetings/AGMs where appropriate.
  • Processing Revenue documentation.
  • Drafting minutes of board meetings, Annual General Meetings of Companies.
  • Administering board changes and resolutions.
  • Arranging share transfers, allotments, and changes to share capital where required.
  • Companies incorporation, registration and deregistration.
  • General Company Administration duties.
  • Updating systems with relevant data, maintain Statutory Registers, minute books and records.
  • Liaising with other internal departments on a daily basis.

Requirements:

· Company Secretarial experience and software knowledge is an advantage but not essential.

· ICSA qualification is an advantage but not essential.

· Motivated and a self-starter with initiative and a strong emphasis on delivery and execution.

· Attention to detail.

· Flexible, creative and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work to deadlines.

· Strong working knowledge of MS Office including intermediate to advanced Excel.

· Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to use own initiative with strong administration and time management skills.

Working Conditions

· Office based, 37½ hour week, 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
