Account Manager

Contracting PLUS is growing and we are building our team of expert Account Managers.

We are Ireland’s largest provider of Umbrella Company and Limited Company Solutions, providing tax, accounting, and payroll support for Independent Professional Contractors.

About the role

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Account Manager.  This role is based in Cork and is part of the Account Manager Team.  The Account Manager is an integral part of the company as they are the one point of contact to our customer and are their champion.

This is very much a client focused role with emphasis on providing excellent customer service.  Part of our company ethos is engaging with our clients on the telephone so excellent communication skills are an absolute requirement.

Candidate will be performing the following duties

  • One point of contact for any and all matters specific to the contractor
  • Coordinate with various teams to facilitate customer need fulfilment
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of customer service to the contractor
  • Answering customer queries and building strong, long lasting relationships with them
  • Providing advice on Salaries and Expenses
  • Continuous assessment of the customer’s needs
  • Identify areas of improvement or automation to deliver the highest quality service
  • Help develop initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and retention


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounting essential
  • Experience in Payroll essential
  • Motivated and a self-starter with initiative and a strong emphasis on delivery and execution.
  • Work well under pressure with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Flexible, creative and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Calmly deal with customer complaints and issues
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to focus on building relationships with clients.
  • Have excellent people skills and intuitive to customer’s needs
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the customers experience
